Robin Jackman, who has been a popular cricket commentator based in South Africa has been diagnosed with Cancer.

The 67-year-old Jackman is said to have had two surgeries in his vocal cords to remove malignant tumours. The TV Commentator is likely to undergo seven weeks of radiotherapy and seems to be a confident man in recovering from the Cancer which has been diagnosed in the early stage itself fortunately. Now this is the fourth case of a cricketing personality suffering from cancer after Yuvraj Singh, Tony Greig and Martin Crowe.

Robin Jackman who is more known to cricket fans as a regular Commentator during South Africa matches had played in 4 Tests and 15 ODIs for England between 1981 and 1983 with modest success. Jackman also played for Rhodesia (Zimbabwe), Surrey and Western Province in first-class cricket. He was an all-rounder of sorts at the first-class level but at the international level was more of a fast bowler.
