Match Preview:

Rajasthan have lacked the intensity that one would associate with a team mentored by the great Warne and they have become a team that can be tamed easily. Their decision making capabilities seem to have gone for a toss as they continue to struggle to find their best combination. They did bring in Heinrich Klaasen in the last game and most thought that would give Rahul Tripathi a chance to open. Instead, he came in at number six while Klaasen failed to impress at the top.
Their bowling too has been far from impressive, except for Shreyas Gopal. Once again, the decision to drop Dhawal Kulkarni for Stuart Binny baffled most people and the latter conceded 33 runs off his three overs. The experienced duo of Ben Laughlin and Jaydev Unadkat have economy rates of 10.16 and 10.66 runs per over respectively, while Ben Stokes has been going at 10.63 runs per over. Numbers don’t lie, and these numbers need some serious introspection.
Mumbai come into this match, having registered their first win of the tournament, thanks largely to a superb batting effort from skipper Rohit Sharma. Even though the Bangalore are on a similar boat as the Rajasthan, they did show some intensity to fight as opposed to the Rajasthan.
Apart from Pollard, who has only managed 33 runs in three innings with the bat, the Mumbai batsmen look to be in fine nick and should be looking to capitalize against the Rajasthan bowling attack. They will also be looking for an improved performance from Mustafizur Rehman, who has an economy rate of 9.03 this season.

Head to Head: Rajasthan 6 - 10 Mumbai
